Best to you. Quitting is difficult, but very possible. I lapse once in awhile, but I haven't had a serious episode of self-harm behavior for over two years now, and it's been six years or so since I was doing it daily. It can be done. 

I couldn't stay self-harm free until I had tried out some alternatives and found three or four reliable ones. Once I'd found my alternatives, it still took time, and many lapses, before I started feeling more confident in myself. 

What I'm getting at is that even if you struggle at first, don't give up. It can definitely be done.
