Unburdened
What will happen if I take this for more than 4 weeks in a row? The manufacturer says it is not recommended to do this, but I'm enjoying the good sleeping I'm getting from it and am concerned about getting insomnia again. notloki
Many take Zopiclone long term without trouble and Zopiclones brother Lunesta is approved for long term use.
CrazyRedhead
I agree with notloki. If your doc is okay with you taking it long term, I would suggest trust your doc.
phatphuk
How does eszopiclone compare with other hypnotics, it's the only one I haven't tried.

Well, it's supposed to be pretty similar to Ambien, if you've ever tried that one..... Both Ambien (zolpidem) and Lunesta (eszopiclone), are called "z-drugs". If you haven't ever used it, it might be worth a try for you.. Edited November 22, 2017 by CrazyRedhead
Iceberg
I thought ambien was zolpidem

Zopiclone is actually generic Imovane--it's a z-drug also used for sleep. Sorry for the mix-up. Edited November 22, 2017 by CrazyRedhead
phatphuk
Yeah I'm on ambien. For some reason my doctor doesn't want to prescribe eszopiclone.
