I've been on it since April. I maxed out on Wellbutrin and asked my doc to move me to it, as I was on Effexor in the past for 6 years and they are both SNRI.
The hot flashes are fun. The nausea too. You either get passed them, or you get used to them. The worst is trying to stretch a muscle group, and instead of a stretch and release, it cramps up on you. I had my leg cramp up in the stirrup at the GYN. Fun stuff. But I had way more low days on my old combo. I still take 10 mg Saphris, as I have since 2013, but the wellbutrin just wouldn't carry me through my day and I couldn't even cook a meal. I have to cook. It's just a given. I was struggling in the kitchen for 3 weeks before I started Fetzima.

Fetzima is interesting. It's classified as an SNRI but it really should be called an NSRI because it affects norepinephrine much more strongly than Effexor, Pristiq, or Cymbalta. Effexor doesn't even touch norepinephrine until you get to 150mg. Pristiq always does but has a much lower affinity for it than serotonin. Cymbalta is the only SNRI that is an even 50/50 between serotonin and norepinephrine. So Fetzima should arguably be just as if not more stimulating than Cymbalta. Look out for that excessive sweating!
