JustGotOut
I notice every time I get my pulse checked at the doctor where they put it in your finger, my hands just shake so much. And its weird because I never notice it shaking other than that specific time. I also am noticing lately that I have been having issues with my speech. Sometimes it seems like my mouth is moving when I'm trying to stand still and I also feel a sensation all throughout my body that feels like an energy that prevents my body from being completely still. I don't know if this is eps, or td or what. All I know is it seems to be related to my medication. Has anyone else dealt with issues with regards to medication causing speech problems? If so what can be done? I did a search and found this which seems to confirm my suspicions. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4676210/ Conclusion: Both duration of use and propensity of atypical antipsychotics to cause EPS can influence the speech performance of the patients CONCLUSION Atypical antipsychotics can have an impact on speech production independent of TD and dystonia. Some of these effects may be related to the duration of antipsychotics, and some may be linked to the degree of EPS. A prospective study addressing the premedication speech status, as well as follow-up speech evaluation at regular intervals may throw more light in this regard Edited December 12, 2017 by JustGotOut
notloki
Yes they can, this is pretty well known. Tremors can be resting, only appearing at rest and intention, when the tremor appears when in motion. You describe a resting tremor., another AP side effect. Talk to your doc, there are treatments for this.
