zoloft and sex drive

Recommended Posts

That's common. Read the board and count the number of people taking ssri's and having sexual side effects. In fact I will go so far as to say most psycomeds have the potential to have sexual side effects.

Zoloft was actually OK for me with respect to sex drive. Prozac killed it. That said, I have no sex drive when I'm depressed either.

I did have daily panic attacks on high doses of Zoloft. That, for me, was not a tolerable side effect.

Yes.  I think the daily panic attacks are from the zoloft.  I think it is time to part ways. I can't imagine it would be from the Geodon.

Actually for me geodon revved me up way too much at lower doses

Zoloft didn't do much for my anxiety, although I didn't notice much in the way of sexual side effects (though I've always had a low libido). I was still prone to panic attacks on it. I went up from 50 to 150 over about 6 months and finally quit and switched over to effexor, which has worked much better for me.

Celexa murdered my sex drive. I am taking it only because it is effective against anxiety, though I must say that it increased my anxiety in the beginning. Now it helps as good as a benzo or better. But the no sex drive side effect never went away.
