My doctor gave me 9mg Invega samples and told me to cut them in half. Is this possible?

I usually take 6mg Invega, but no samples in that milligram were available.

Any advice is appreciated!

That's strange. I've never heard of cutting Invega pills in half because they are delayed release tablets and I assume would not work? Of course I am not a psychiatrist.

Maybe call up the pharmacy for a second opinion?

Thank you, I will do that. I'm pretty sure the pharmacy will say they don't cut because they're time release tablets. I've tried cutting one in half with a knife, and it flew across the room. It's like it didn't even make a dent. I'll try a pill cutter if the pharmacy says it's possible. I can also call my clinic and see if they got my correct dose of samples in. I could take the 9mg, but I get less akithisia on 6. Thanks again.
