Ethansmom
Besides the feeling of complete fear and panic, i keep waking up trembling. IT seems to be a symptom that comes and goes. I took my morning klonopin (woke up panicky and anxious), and now just took my second dose 8 hours later. Is that too far apart? How long do the Klonopin effects last for? I just ate and my heart is pounding and i'm shaking- that's when i then took the klonopin. I'm at work trying to make it through the day. Should i switch to xanax. Part of me is scared that the tritenllix 2.5MG is causing this. Why am i so afraid of feeling anything ??? I'm terrified of trembling, terrified of palpitations, and just feel scared. What is my problem?!!! i don't know how to come out of this vicious circle. Can someone provide me with a different perspective? I'm sad and scared. Iceberg
Klonipin is usually 8-12 hours so that's normal. I think it's natural to be worried about start up problems and it's tough cuz u get anxious about getting anxious, but it might make things worse if u start pressing changes before the trintellix levels off

HydroCat
Sometimes antidepressants make you feel worse at first before they actually work. But even with that in mind, 2.5 mg of Trintellix may be too low for you. If I remember correctly the minimum effective dose is supposed to be 5mg. Trintellix is (mostly) an SSRI, but some of its specific properties may actually decrease serotonin in low doses, thus causing even more depression/anxiety. Ethansmom
My doctor said the manufacturer recommends a starting dose of 10MG. I see her tuesday, so i can confirm with her. I bet she is so sick of my trying different things. It's like i'm so resistant to everything. My body has a hard time tolerating these meds. Ughhh... Iceberg
Don't feel forced to go with the suggestion of 10 mg. manufacture guidelines can be very aggressive. In normal conditions My doc doesn't start anyone above 5 for at least a few weeks

I'm also super resistant, been on tons over the years and they all had bad side effects. Currently all I can handle is Cymbalta and only 40mg. at 50 I start biting peoples heads off. Sadly I can't take any mood stabilizer, the lovely lamictal gave me the super rare death rash, my psyche just shook her head and said "Only you! In all my years of practice, youve been the ONLY one to get the rash!"
