BipolarSpinster
Is it possible? I can’t remember the timeframe exactly when my appetite shot straight through the roof, but it seems very possible it was then. That, or Xanax. Now ive recently been put on Vraylar, and my god...I eat everything in sight! I had gastric bypass 9 years ago and I’m out of my mind with this gaining! The entire 9 years I’ve kept it off, until about 5-6 months ago. Adderall started way before that, but for some reason never had decreased appetite with it ever. Just trying to figure out how to make this STOP,
jt07
Appetite suppression is a side effect of Adderall, and it's a side effect that goes away after a while. Perhaps Adderall is no longer suppressing your appetite and it just seems like it is having a paradoxical effect?

Well, I don’t know, but I had gastric bypass nine years ago and kept all my weight off until about 6-9ish months ago. My appetite was normal prior to Adderall, and I can’t remember what happened when I started whether loss of appetite or not, but I’m pretty sure no effect? I think? I don’t know tbh I’m shooting in the dark. Thanks for responding. ??
Blahblah
Does your appetite kick in right after you take the Adderall or is it a delayed thing, where you are starving in the afternoon or after lunch? i don't know if it comes in both instant or extended, but as your tolerance increases, when stimulants wear off, they can cause you to be super hungry. Also, I know that the appetite suppression effect usually only occurs in the beginning (but adderall may be different)
mikl_pls
I've been taking Dexedrine off and on for years and it still has an appetite suppressing effect for me.
