BipolarSpinster
So I’m in a Bipolar mixed state due to doc trying me on Fetzima. We tried it because of it being weight neutral. Big mistake...actually lists hypomania as a side effect...though I learned that after I started it and actually kinda WANTED it if even for a little while. Well, now that I’m screwed up, she put me in an emergency slot on Saturday...so I’ve got just a few days to come up with some wonderful wt neutral AD that I can talk her into. Muahaha. Hopefully something that would be most likely to at least possibly mimic cymbalta ‘cause that’s been the best up to this point-but! It eventually caused wt gain. Did research and found that the longer you’re on it, the higher chance of wt gain. I know some will think, isn’t weight gain less important than stability? NO. It isn’t. ?. Im 4 years into recovery from an ED and it just won’t do. Any researchers’ ideas welcome!

These two, unlike Zoloft and Prozac, didn't make me more hungry than usual. Milnacipran, like your Fetzima, made me feel insane, possibly hypomanic, but I don't have the bipolar dx to tell. BipolarSpinster
I’m still unsure whether it was cymbalta that caused the weight gain or the recent finding that I’ve got elevated prolactin! So I’m contemplating asking doc to go back on cymbalta since that’s been the “one” that has really helped me and possibly ask for topamax to be added for weight loss! I am *terrified* of Effexor, its side effects, and withdrawal issues upon cessation. Thanks for taking the time to reply! ?
