Ironically I am listening to the Seroquel XR mechanism of action narration (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfS23Sv7v2Q?

There is honestly something about pharmaceutical companies mechanism of action media/videos that makes the narration soothing. When Rexulti had their old proposed mechanism of action on the HCP website, I legit downloaded it and turned it into a mp3, imported it into itunes so it could be synced to my phone, then I set it to be the sound of my alarms. So when my alarm went off at 10:00am, I heard "Rexulti, brexpiprazole, proposed mechanism of action. The neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephine...."

Satisfied from the Hamilton Mixtape:

Also It's Quiet Uptown (same source):

I think I like the original better, but this is still good.

Preoccupations - Anxiety

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csMbqrFT1dM

With a sense of urgency and unease
Second-guessing just about everything
Recollections of a nightmare
So cryptic and incomprehensible

Encompassing
Anxiety

No control, no compensation
A jaded need for some astonishment
It's a blunt humiliation
Not at risk of being overconfident

Encompassing
Anxiety

I'm spinning in a vacuum
Deteriorating to great acclaim
Help has fallen by the wayside
Nowhere near to finding better ways to be
I'm not here purely for the sake
Of breathing, I am wide awake
Excuse my efforts for today

I, for the life of me, cannot get rid of my new Cher binge! It been weeks and I can’t stop singing them, blaring them while driving, watching videos, and just flat out hearing them as I shower/housework/whatever in my head!

These two in particular, but almost all of her old songs that made my spirit temporarily fly during my less than loving childhood ...

and!

🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Ps: does anyone know if these songs were about her life? Or just thought up lyrics?

I have a soft spot for early Cher, and these two songs in particular.  I like it way better than her later stuff. And also reminds me of watching Sonny and Cher when I was tiny.

Yes, me too...before the parents got divorced...I used to love dancing with her while watching her and Sonny. Sonny’s passing and the amount of grief she displayed still breaks my heart at times.

Classic. Statue of big dog with fleas!

I've been listening to more rap music because I'm a nearly 40 year old white guy who's probably going through a midlife crisis (Though life has always been a fucking crisis). This is a fucking tune though.

This is lovely even if you don't care for the music. From 43:20 the lead singer Joe gets emotional about performing at Glastonbury and can't continue. Luckily the Irish guy in his underpants is ready to jump into the crowd and keep things going like the professional that he is. Underpants guy is apparently still working as a dentist. The lead singers wife comes onstage and awwww! Probably nobody will find this interesting but I thought it was great.
