gb84
I was able to get an appointment next Wednesday. I have a list here of things I need to change. Do you think this is too much to ask for at one time? I am bringing a relative with me just for support. 1. Need to switch from Viibryd to something else due to daily diarrhea. 2. Zyprexa is causing me to gain too much weight and is not controlling my symptoms of paranoia, delusions or fits of rage. 3. Would like to try Latuda again but at a lower dose to try and mitigate the muscle movements. If the muscle problems come back I want to add Propranolol, just to see if it works. Cogentin did not work which is why I had to stop Latuda. 4. Want to switch back to Dexedrine from Ritalin since Ritalin is causing me to be even angrier. 5. Open to suggestions from Dr. for the AD and AP as long as they are weight neutral. I used to weigh 430lbs and I'm not going back there. The 25lbs I've gained on Zyprexa is far enough. 6. Would like to try Lamictal or some other mood stabilizer. Gabapentin is not working for me anymore. Will probably admit I quit taking it all together. So what do you think about this? I am tired angry and frustrated. I don't want to feel like this anymore...
jt07
The general rule is to make one change at a time so you know what is doing what.
gb84
I don't have the patience for that. Plus my Dr. is out for all of July. So unless she let's me see another Dr. while she's gone I'll have to go to the hospital. She has changed multiple meds before, but I need someone there just to help my anxiety to ask. I'm at the point where I don't want to live anymore, I'm in a nightmare that never ends. I don't want to commit suicide at the moment. But I might if the appointment goes bad. Iceberg
It sucks the most at times like this but you gotta have patience because several changes at once can make it impossible to figure out what is helping and what is causing side effects. List all your concerns and then let the doc decide the best long term plan while keeping your issues in mind. If your thinking that seriously about suicide maybe you should talk about inpatient treatment especially if your doc will be gone

gb84
I just called the hospital my Dr. told me to go to. Will be there at 8am in the morning. Not going to go to a regular hospital, they never help, just warehouse till the symptoms subside. Thanks for the replies...
