Min
tried effexor, and i'm slowly coming off it. tried ssri's and they don't get along with my body. so, in y'alls opinions, what's a good med for anxiety, maybe a little depression? i've got clonazepam, but i need something else i think. if i start getting bad after i get off effexor, i may need something else. so i want your input. my doc keeps suggesting wellbutrin but i already have an excellerated heartbeat so yeah. thanks =D
Dee
Have you tried Remeron yet? It helped me for a couple of years, but pooped out. You look slim in your photo, so if you don't mind the muchies, maybe talk to your doc about it. Aside from weight gain, I had zero side effects. I don't believe it has any heart issues, but your doc can verify that.

lemonflavor
I would think the norepinephrine is what contributes to heart issues, but I'm no doctor. Remeron can be good. As I understand it, it works more on epinephrine at the higher doses so my wild guess advice would be to try it at 15-30 mgs for a while. Also helped me for a couple years and pooped out. Min
actually, i am not thin. 160lbs at 5'4''. i have truncal obesity, so it gathers itself there. i will have to ask my doctor, i suppose. though my mother told me she thought i had an appointment in april, much farther than i thought. i am going to call tomorrow to see when exactly it is. i am weaning off effexor and it's hell. i cannot stand it.
