gazelle
My son is 5 with moderate to severe autism. He might also have ADHD. The main behaviors I'm looking for advice on medication wise are his extreme movement including jumping down from heights, climbing, and tapping on shelves to make objects fall. He's not learning much in kindergarten, and we are going to put him in a different school where he can get a lot more therapy. He speaks in some sentences but is about two years behind developmentally. He's on paxil now, and he's happier and more social but it does nothing for the other dangerous behaviors. Med ideas?? Please? Thank you!!
Gearhead
Hi, Gazelle, I’m sorry, but CB is a first-person site: We only deal with people talking about their own mental health issues, not those seeking advice for friends or loved ones. I recommend that you contact the Autism Society of America and query them about resources in your area. Best wishes, Gearhead (admin)
