clinic
I take cozapine 200, paroxetine 37.5 CR, clobazam 10 After holding a heavy bag of groceries for 10-15mins, my whole arm starts shaking and tremoring. It goes away the next day though. Is this normal ? Can meds cause this ? Edited August 2, 2019 by clinic
confused
I shake a little during the day. I think it could be from my meds. I have helped serving food at work. I was picking up 1/2 ears of corn with tongs. I started shaking and dropping them. I continued to shake for awhile. I think it was a combo of the weight, and my meds. But, it did not last all day. Does this happen often? You should mention it to pdoc. There are medicines for tremors, but mine is not too bad.
looking for answers
just to throw it out there. If the bag is heavy, and your holding it for 10-15 minutes, it literally just can be your muscles getting tired. Especially if you dont work out. I workout religiously, and here is an example i'll give. Give me a 10 lb dumbbell, its nothing-very light, i can curl it 50 times. Put that 10lb dumbell in my arm , with it slightly extend(biceps working eccentrically) and after 5 min thats EXTREMELY hard........ make sense? I do wall sits for my one workout. I do at the END of one of my leg days. I hold a 60 lb dumbell and get in a sitting position against that wall after 1 min i stop. By the 2nd and 3rd time i do this. my legs are quivering and shaking 6 ways from saturday at about the 40-45 second mark........... Strength vs muscular endurance........not saying this is the issue. but if they are heavy, and its 10-15 minutes, very wel could be. Which is normal.
Melancholya
This sorta thing happens to me fairly regularly and I think it's just muscle fatigue. I'm not very strong, lol.
Catwoman
After holding a heavy bag my hand will start shaking. After a while it stops. I think the muscles get tired very easily. I had this already in the years that I didn't take any antidepressants. I think it did get worse with clomipramine....I have it when I'm a little nervous or when I lifted something heavy. Or when holding my digital SLR, which becomes quite heavy with the zoom lens screwed on. I think your meds can cause it but you should tell your pdoc.
