Anyone here tried ACT?  I guess it's a pretty new form of therapy, but it sounds pretty promising.  I don't know too much about it yet other than what I've read in this salon article.  I've bought a book or two  on the subject, but haven't started reading them yet. It seems like it's a mindfulness-based approach that draws a lot on the Buddhist idea of the inevitability of suffering.  It seems to be a pretty no-nonsense kind of therapy, firmly grounded in science and accepted wisdom..."Eastern" wisdom, anyway.  Any opinions or experiences?
