what does this mean?

Recommended Posts

Tdoc put the following diagnosis on my aftercare sheet:

Behavior Problem and MH04: Psychosis or Mania WITH Agitation.

Anyone have a clue what this means? MH04?

Thanks for searching, @dancesintherain.

Also... behavior problem? What on earth does that mean!

could be similar to "difficult patient" on my file

drs often don't appreciate being questioned

I did some digging.

I found multiple sources all listing a version of this class. My conclusion is that MH04 is the code for something like “Mental Health assessment style #4” or “Mental Health assessment as I was trained to do by the DBH.”

At the very least, I’m sure MH stands for mental health.

You all are going to love this: tdoc doesn't know what MH04 means either!. Apparently it is some weird coding system just for their hospital. She picked the code most similar to "hypo/mania," which apparently is a "behavior problem" in their system. Mystery very unsatisfactorily solved!

MH04. Sounds like a code name for a secret government project. Do you have any super powers? Do you have a netflix show in the works? After escaping from a top secret military base as part of the MH04 program aura starts a new life as a jazz pianist while trying to suppress their ability to turn anyone who annoys them into a cactus. Gary Busey co-stars as an angry squirrel who is the reincarnation of Buddha. I'd watch that.
