Wonderful.Cheese
What time do you take your next meds and then what time do you actually go to bed to sleep? I usually take mine immediately before bed. But I was thinking of taking them like 2 hours before bed like 7 pm and going to bed at 9 or 10 pm. But I probably would still have to take the zyprexa at 9 or 10 pm because I think that knocks me right out? I think so anyway? What do you guys do? jarn
I take my zyprexa, metformin, and CBD (zyprexa gives me akathisia) at 8, and go to bed around 11. At bedtime I take my birth control, lamotrigine, and gabapentin. Zyprexa doesn't knock me out at bedtime though I find it difficult to wake up.

Butterflykisses
I take my bedtime meds around 8:30ish. I am asleep between 10-11pm.
saintalto
I take my latuda with dinner because it doesn’t make me tired. I take lamictal, trazadone, and melatonin right before I go to sleep. I couldn’t stay awake if I took trazadone any earlier.
dancesintherain
I take everything (including zyprexa) at 7pm, but I also usually try to be in bed gttting ready to sleep around 8/8:30. Try as I might to change that, it hasn't stuck yet.
Banana Smurf
I take my meds right before I'm ready to go to bed, because Latuda tends to knock me out. I usually take it at about 11:00 and go to sleep at about 12:00. I sometimes take it earlier, but usually go to sleep about an hour later. I eat something with it. Gearhead
None of my meds have a knock-out effect on me anymore, so I just take them late, with the expectation that I’ll go to bed in an hour or so, and hope that once I fall asleep, they’ll help me stay asleep.
CrazyRedhead
Trazodone knocks me out within about 30 minutes, so I take it right before I get in bed.... Edited May 15, 2020 by CrazyRedhead
psychwardjesus
Depends on which one I'm taking at the time. I have a few, z-drug/benzo/non-benzo, that I like to cycle through so that I don't become too dependant or tolerant on any one med. But, typically, I'll take it at least an hour before I'd ideally like to fall asleep, then get into bed and either read or watch TV (I know, terrible sleep hygiene), and hopefully fall asleep.
